Earlier this week, after Twitter fact-checked two of US president Donald Trump's posts , an outcry was prompted from the conservatives. On Thursday, Trump signed an Executive Order directing federal regulators to crack down on social media companies like Twitter and consider taking away legal protections that guard them against the responsibility for what gets posted on their platforms. However, the Executive Order does not seem to scare Twitter into not deploying its policies against the US president. On Friday, Donald Trump tweeted about the Minneapolis protests taking place in the US, which has emerged in the wake of George Floyd's death.
